Hendrike Barz-Meltzer

Working with different techniques, Hendrike Barz-Meltzer strives for well-designed pieces, mostly abstract, with an element of the unexpected—the off-centre, unequal, non-matching and the odd. The pieces are outcomes of a design process that starts with a drawing that is
transferred onto the human body, is altered and finally translated into materials. The pieces fully come to life when seen worn. Material and technical considerations are guided by environmental and ethical thinking to produce beautiful, one-off or small series of jewellery pieces that have been created responsibly.
