Rebecca-Anne Boldra

The inspiration for Rebecca-Anne Boldra’s designs comes from the small and overlooked details that are found in nature, starting with the ridged structure of pine-cones and enriched with observations of how lichen grows and changes the surface to which it attaches. A combination of hand forging and raising techniques are used in her practice. The relationship between the object and the user is explored by the design and functionality of the object.
