Hannah makes sculptural silverware and jewellery. Her work is an interpretation of nature and the places she’s travelled. Hannah uses hand-raising to form sheet silver into vessels. The abstract forms are created using a combination of hammers, punches, sandbags and stakes. Fine jewellery ranges allow Hannah to work with the hammers on a delicate scale. Working in a variety of scales Hannah finds new approaches to her work. Her larger pieces and finer jewellery inform, influence and compliment each other. Her work is a journey of exploration of form and texture in metal, evolving over time with her experiences.
